Now that I have your attention… It’s been a year since our Kickstarter and we have been asked if we plan on reissuing the gold and silver soupons. Originally we had planned them to be a one-off but we have had enough requests that we have decided to reissue a small number. Most of the original soupon holders have renewed theirs so we reckon we can afford to offer six silver soupons and 1 gold soupon.
The silver soupons are good for one free soup a week for a year while the gold soupon is good for a free soup every day of the year. If you’re interested, read on.
Silver soupons. (Free soup once a week for a year.) These cost £165 each and last from 1st May 2014 to 30th April 2015. During that time you are entitled to one free standard or large soup plus bread free per week. It is good for sit-in and take-away and at both the cafe and Dumbo – the Union of Genius soup van.The soupon can have up to two names on it, in case you want to share it with someone (but it can still only be used once per week.)
Gold soupon. (Free soup every day for a year.) This costs £525 and lasts from 1st May 2014 to 30th April 2015. During that time you are entitled to one free standard or large soup plus bread free per day. That’s right. A free soup every day. It is good for sit-in and take-away and at both the cafe and Dumbo – the Union of Genius soup van.The soupon can have up to two names on it in case you want to share it with someone (but you can still only use it once per day). There is only one available.

The basic terms and conditions are that the soupons may only be used by the person or persons (max 2) named on them. Silver soupons may only be used once per week and unused weeks don’t carry over. Soupons can be used for standard or large soups from the cafe or from Dumbo at George Square. They can’t be used for soups from other cafes or from events we’re attending. At our discretion we may allow occasional use of your soupon by an unnamed person or to “catch up” if you have missed several weeks. We’ll try to make it easy for you to get good value out of your soupon. The soupons work on an honesty basis: we don’t track how often you use it and we trust you not to use it more than you’re supposed to.
